Starry Starry Night
Starry starry night
The river shone under it;
The jambiya stabbed in my throat,
shone under it.
The bloodied shirt reflected those red rose petals.
Israfel playing sitar by my side,
the tunes pulling the strings
of my heart and mind,
levitating in the misty sky
on the starry starry night;
The tenants passively watched
the shirt getting bloodier,
and they called me the 'madman';
I ran lunatically across the misty sky
fell into Israfel's lap.

Israfel plucked the string of the sitar
wrapped it around
the jambiya pierced neck
and tied it tight.
Blood flowed and I grinned.
